Bespoke floral design in Notting Hill

Bespoke floral design in Notting Hill

Bespoke floral design shapes arrangements around your room, palette, vessel and occasion.

Service details

From its Stanley Gardens, W11 home studio, Aaliah Lait discusses each commission and prices it by quotation.

Room and occasion

Begin with where the flowers will live: a dining table, hallway console or entrance. Share a photograph, rough dimensions and any occasion. Set the direction—intimate or generous, quiet or contrasting—so the design responds to the setting rather than a template.

Colour direction

Start with a wall, fabric, artwork or colour you want to foreground. Butterfly-inspired directions might be crimson and rose, amber and rust, indigo and thistle, or ivory with misty green. Mention colours to avoid too; they help settle tone, texture and movement.

Scale, vessel and placement

Share an existing vessel’s opening, height, colour and position, or describe what you need supplied. Say whether the arrangement is viewed from one side or all around. Sightlines matter: a dining table may need a low design, while a mantel can take a taller line.

Seasonal materials

Seasonality guides the design. Exact stems shift with the market and time of year, so briefs work best around colour, movement, texture and character. Favourite flowers may have seasonal alternatives. Fresh flowers suit an immediate moment; dried or preserved botanicals suit a longer-standing composition. Final materials, scale and vessel are agreed and priced by quotation.

Consultation and quotation

Begin with a free 15-minute consultation request. Share the setting, colours, scale, vessel, delivery and non-negotiables. The home studio is by consultation, not walk-in; a time is unconfirmed until accepted. Bespoke work is separate from ready-to-order bouquets and wedding or corporate-event floristry. Twilight Wild is separate; an enquiry does not create an automatic subscription. A quotation precedes work.

Questions

What makes a floral design bespoke?

It is developed around your space, colour direction, scale, vessel and occasion, rather than selected from a fixed bouquet menu, using seasonal material available for the commission.

What should I include in my enquiry?

Include a setting photograph, approximate measurements, viewing angle, colour preferences, colours to avoid, vessel details and your preferred date.

Can I request particular flowers or a butterfly-inspired palette?

Yes. Name favourite flowers or a colour direction; specific stems are not guaranteed, but seasonal alternatives can preserve the intended tone, texture and line.

How is a bespoke floral commission priced?

It is priced by quotation after the scale, material direction, vessel requirements and delivery request are understood. There is no fixed bespoke package price.

Where and when can a bespoke design be delivered?

Delivery requests are limited to W10 and W11, from the next business day onward. The studio confirms availability and details before confirmation; same-day service is not offered.
